Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the LockIt mobile application or our web platform at lockitapp.eu, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LockIt. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service

Eligibility & User Accounts

To participate in the LockIt experience, you must create an account via our supported authentication methods (Google, Apple, X, or Email)

Accuracy: You must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times
Responsibility: You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials used to access the service and for any activities or actions under your account
Security: Failure to maintain accurate account information constitutes a breach of these Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account

Use of Service & Gameplay Rules

LockIt is a sports prediction and leaderboard platform designed for entertainment purposes.

Predictions: Users "lock in" picks for specific sports matches within designated rounds
Deadlines: Predictions must be submitted before the start of the respective match or the round deadline as defined within the app
Point Calculation: Points are awarded based on the accuracy of predictions and specific game modes (e.g., "Super Locks" or "Intermediate" leaderboards)
Fair Play: Any attempt to manipulate rankings through multiple accounts, automated scripts, or exploitation of system errors is strictly prohibited

Public Profile & Community

By using LockIt, you acknowledge that certain profile information, including your username, country, favorite teams, and leaderboard rankings, will be visible to other users. You agree not to use offensive, copyrighted, or inappropriate content in your username or profile representation.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

User Termination: You may terminate your account at any time using the "Delete Account" feature within the app.
Data After Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease, and your leaderboard data and progress will be permanently forfeited.

User Content & Communication

As a social platform, LockIt provides tools for user interaction. By using these features, you agree to the following:

Conduct: You agree to refrain from using offensive, defamatory, abusive, or inappropriate language in usernames, profiles, or direct messages.
Moderation: LockIt reserves the right, but not the obligation, to moderate content and terminate accounts that violate these standards of conduct at our sole discretion.

"As Is" Basis: The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. LockIt makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of real-time sports data or the uninterrupted availability of the service.
Not a Gambling Platform: LockIt is a prediction-based game for entertainment. No real-money gambling is conducted within the platform.
User Interactions: LockIt acts solely as a platform for user interaction and is not liable for user-generated content or the conduct of any user. By using the service, you waive any legal claims against LockIt and agree that LockIt shall not be held legally responsible for any offense, distress, or harm resulting from the speech, behavior, or interactions of other users.

Modifications

LockIt reserves the right to update these terms at any time to reflect new features, changes in the law, or regulatory requirements. Continued use of the platform after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the top of this document.
